About SDS.

Initially established in 2013 as NUS Statistics Society, NUS Statistics and Data Science Society (NUS SDS) is a student-run organisation that is committed to fostering a community of students who are passionate about statistics, data analytics, data science, machine learning and more. We provide a key platform for these students, to meet and make friends with like-minded peers, gain relevant organisational skills and expand their technical knowledge.

Throughout the years, NUS SDS organises various events, including technical workshops, and career talks, as well as our annual Data Science/Analytics Competition which is usually held at the start of the year. Besides, we also hold some fun events, such as T-shirt design competitions and internal bonding activities, etc.
